We offer in-home computer support throughout the Cape Breton Regional Municipality. Printer problems, Internet and Wifi trouble, Email issues, Slow PC, crashing, or won’t boot – anywhere in Sydney, Glace Bay, New Waterford, Sydney Mines, or in between – we’ll come to you.
Rates: As of July 1, 2026, in-home residential service is $95/hour. Minimum charge is $71.25 (45-minutes). The clock starts when when our technician leaves the shop. Mileage of up to 20 km is included. After 20km, mileage is billed at $0.65 /km.
Our Intake and Repair Process
From the moment you walk in our door for computer service, support, or a repair, we will keep you informed of what to expect. No technical jargon – unless you want it – just straight answers, full disclosure, and our complete honesty.
Walk-in
No appointment necessary. Walk-in any time during business hours and we’ll greet you at the counter. If your situation is urgent – tell us – we will prioritize accordingly.
Free Assessment
Every customer gets a free initial assessment. We’ll review the problem with you and determine the next steps within minutes – no cost, no strings, no obligation.
Intake
For deeper troubleshooting, we will write up a work order and collect a non-refundable “Intake Fee” ($65+HST). This covers up to 40 minutes – enough time to fix most problems.
For bigger problems
If the problem is more serious or parts need to be ordered, we will provide a detailed explanation of the problem and a guaranteed quote for any additional time/parts.
not worth Repairing?
Your intake fee is never wasted. If your computer in not repairable or the cost of repairs isn’t feasible, you can use the intake fee as a store credit toward a New or ReCertified computer.
